In the first quarter of 2021, Brazil's fast food app market saw varied trends in downloads and user activity across major brands. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of these apps.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery experienced a robust start in January with downloads peaking at 200 thousand in the second week and gradually decreasing to 100 thousand by the end of March. Weekly active users (WAU) mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 1.3 million and reaching a high of 1.4 million before closing the quarter with around 1.2 million active users.

Habib's showed a significant spike in downloads in late February, jumping to 100 thousand, a considerable increase from the 50 thousand downloads seen at the beginning of the year. The WAU for Habib's also peaked in early March at over 300 thousand but saw a decrease to just under 200 thousand by the end of the quarter.

Burger King Brasil had a steady performance in terms of downloads, which hovered around 70 thousand to 50 thousand throughout the quarter. The app's WAU started at 600 thousand but experienced a decline, ending March with slightly over 500 thousand weekly active users.

Domino's Pizza Brasil saw a more modest number of downloads, maintaining between 15 thousand and 10 thousand per week, with a notable dip to around 6 thousand in late February. Active users for Domino's stayed relatively stable, ranging from approximately 34 thousand to 31 thousand over the quarter.

Lastly, KFC Suriname, despite its name, also caters to the Brazilian market and saw its downloads fluctuate between 5 thousand and 2 thousand. Its active user base showed a slight downward trend, from 21 thousand at the start of the period to 17 thousand by the end of March.
